THIS REUNION WILL BE PLANNED AROUND THE OPENING OF THE NATIONAL FLIGHT ACADEMY AND THE 100TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION OF NAVAL AVIATION

check back later for activities to be posted as they are planned.


Some activities that are being talked about now that we hope will occur during this 100th Anniversary celebration will be:

            The LHD USS Iwo Jima (large deck expeditionary aircraft carrier) will be in port for the May 2011 events

            We are hoping for the commissioning of the newest Arleigh Burke DDG, USS William Lawrence to be held this month

            The Curtis A-1 Triad (first Navy aircraft) will be in Pensacola and will be flown daily, conditions permitting

            The Albany Flyer (first shipboard flight) will be in Pensacola and will be flown daily, conditions permitting

            A top name concert is being considered as part of the festivities

            The Blue Angels participation scheduling is in process
